Vehicle Detailer

Position Summary

A Vehicle Detailer cleans the exterior and interior of the motorcoaches and office buildings. This position is located at the Anchorage Motorcoach Shop.

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Wash, clean, and refuel motorcoaches and service vehicles
• Clean office buildings
• Perform a variety of detail and cleaning tasks
• Handle a variety of chemicals safely and responsibly
• Perform other duties as assigned

Candidates for the Vehicle Detailer position must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:

• Be 18 years of age prior to May 1
• Able to lift a minimum of 70 lbs
• Willing to submit to a pre-employment drug test
• Be a U.S. citizen or show proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Able to work a full season (mid-May to mid-September)
• Able to work evening shifts (6:00 pm-2:30 am)

Once hired, RCT will provide you with a thorough training program via classroom and on-the-job training.

First year Vehicle Detailer $11.00/hour

The work schedule is approximately 35 - 40 hours per week.

Overtime wages are paid at 1 1/2 times the regular rate of pay for the hours in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Upon successful completion of the assignment, you will be eligible for a Longevity Bonus calculated at 10% of your gross wages (regular and overtime) earned during this assignment. 

If hired prior to July 1st, and upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be eligible for a cruise on Royal Caribbean International or Celebrity Cruises at a highly discounted employee rate.
