Tour Inventory Coordinator


Position Summary

The role of the Tour Inventory Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the Tour Inventory Office. Working with tour inventory vendors to manage optional excursion sales. Ensure work assigned to Tour Inventory Clerks is completed by the required deadlines. Ensure accuracy of work in Tour Inventory Operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

The Tour Inventory Coordinator duties include but are not limited to:

  • Oversee the daily operations of the Tour Inventory office
  • Reconcile daily and weekly sales reports with tour vendors
  • Schedule the Tour Inventory team
  • Manage the Tour Inventory Data Base
  • Problem solve and assist in resolving tour inventory related issues
  • Assist in training employees in Tour Inventory procedures
  • Assist Tour Inventory Clerks with the processing of optional excursion payments
  • Assist in training Tour Directors on Tour Inventory operations and procedures
  • Performs other duties as required.  This job description in no way states or implies that these are the only duties to be performed by the employee occupying this position.  Employees will be required to perform any other job-related duties assigned by their supervisor or management.
Minimum Qualifications:

Tour Inventory Coordinator must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:

  • A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
  • 21 years of age at start of employment
  • Possess a valid drivers license and a good driving record that falls within the guidelines of Royal Celebrity Tours
  • Be willing to submit to pre-employment, random, post-accident, and just cause drug and alcohol testing
  • Available to work from mid May through mid Sept
  • Proven supervisory experience
  • Prior work experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
  • High school graduate or equivalent certificate
  • Basic knowledge of fax machine, photo copier, and telephone
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must complete the provided van training
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management and staff
  • Work independently and as a member of a team
Training Timeline:

Once hired, RCT will provide you with a thorough training program via classroom and on-the-job training.

Wages:

First year Tour Inventory Coordinator - $13.00/hr (approximately 40 hours/week)

Overtime wages are paid at 1 1/2 times the regular rate of pay for the hours in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Bonus:

Upon successful completion of the assignment, you will be eligible for a Longevity Bonus calculated at 10% of your gross wages (regular and overtime) earned during this assignment.
