Anchorage Operations Agent


Position Summary

The role of an Anchorage Operations Agent is to staff RCT's Operations Center. They are the liaisons between Managers, Supervisors and field staff. Ops Agents are also a primary contact for guest service issues and tracking of misplaced luggage and lost and found items. Additionally, Ops Agents are responsible for maintaining all daily operations documents and clearly communicating daily activities to RCT field staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

Primary responsibilities of an Anchorage Operations Agent include but are not limited to:

  • Handle all email, phone, and radio traffic communications
  • Handle and resolve any guest service issues
  • Act as a resource to field staff regarding operational issues
  • Locate and expedite lost luggage/lost & found items
  • Assist with operational emergencies as necessary
  • Support Tour and Motorcoach Operations with administrative tasks
  • Generate, maintain and update daily operations documents including manifests, logs, and schedules
  • Maintain accurate operational equipment inventory
  • Process guests' personal property claims
  • Performs other duties as required
Minimum Qualifications:

Anchorage Operation Agents must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Be a U.S. Citizen or able to provide verification of authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Must be available to work May thru mid-September
  • Pass a pre-employment drug test
  • Possess knowledge of personal computers within a Windows environment, e.g., Lotus, Notes email, Word, Excel, and related technologies and equipment
  • Be able to work in a team environment
  • Have excellent guest service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
  • Have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with all levels of management and employees
  • Be able to respond to and provide solutions to common inquiries or complaints from guests
  • Be able to lift 50-75 pounds repetitively
  • Possess a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (no more than one moving violation or at fault accident in the last three years)
Training Timeline:

Once hired, RCT will provide you with a thorough training program via classroom and on-the-job training.

Wages:

First year Anchorage Operation Agent - $12.00/hr

Overtime wages are paid at 1 1/2 times the regular rate of pay for the hours in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Bonus:

Upon successful completion of the assignment, you will be eligible for a Longevity Bonus calculated at 10% of your gross wages (regular and overtime) earned during this assignment. 

Benefits:
