Operations Supervisor
Operations Supervisors guide day-to-day activities and supervise Guest Service Representatives, Luggage Handlers, and Luggage Truck Drivers.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leading and participating in day-to-day operations-guest arrivals and departures.
Driving the luggage truck, as needed.
Assuring excellent customer service through efficient operations
Assisting in planning, training and coaching staff
Preparing weekly schedules
Assisting Operations Manager as required
Minimum Qualifications
Operations Supervisors must meet the following criteria in order to be considered:
Excellent communication and people skills
Ability to assist guests and to systematically resolve issues while under pressure
At least 21 years of age by May 1, 2007
Possess a valid Alaska driver's license and acceptable driving record such as no more than one moving violation or at-fault accident in the last three years
Submit to a pre-employment drug test
Successfully complete a driver training program and pass all associated tests.
Provide a DOT Medical Card
US citizen or can provide proof of authorization to work in the US
Able to repeatedly lift and move 50-75 pounds
Work widely varying schedules including very early morning, late evening and week-end shifts.
Training Timeline
Once hired, the Operations Manager will provide necessary training to do a great job. Luggage truck driver training will be conducted by a Royal Celebrity Tours driver-trainer.
Housing
This position is based in Fairbanks. Employees are responsible for their own housing. Out-of-state employees are responsible for transportation to and from Alaska.
Wages & Bonuses
First year: $12.00/hour
Employees are eligible for a bonus of 10% of their gross wages upon completion of their work agreement.

Employees who start working prior to July 1, 2007 and who successfully complete their work agreement are eligible for a highly discounted cruise of up to 14 days on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruise Lines.
