Guest Service Rep. - FAI

Guest Service Representatives assist guests as they arrive and depart their Alaska cruise-tours. Meeting flights, handling luggage issues and directing coach boarding are the primary responsibilities. Eight positions. 24-34 hours per week.

Duties include but are not limited to:

Providing friendly, efficient and timely airport and hotel operations

Assisting guests with luggage identifiction and movement, luggage claims and guest service issues

Cooperating with RCT and other tour company employees and with Fairbanks International Airport operations and security

Minimum Qualifications

Guest Service Representatives must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as applicants:

Excellent communication and people skills
Assist guests and systematically resolve issues
At least 18 years of age by May 1, 2008
Valid Alaska drivers license and a good, safe driving record such as no more than one moving violation or at-fault accident in the last three years
Able and willing to drive seven passenger vans
Submit to pre-employment drug test
US citizen or can provide proof of authorization to work in the US
Repeatedly lift and move 50-75 pounds
Work early morning, late evening, and/or week-end shifts

Training Timeline

Once hired, the Operations Manager and Supervisors will provide the necessary training to do a great job.

Housing

This position is based in Fairbanks. Employees are responsible for their own housing. Out-of-state employees are responsible for their transportation to and from Alaska.

Wages & Bonuses

First year: $10.00 per hour. Employees are eligible for a bonus of 10% of their gross wages upon completion of their work agreement.

Benefits

Employees who start working prior to July 1, 2008 and who successfully complete their work agreement are eligible for a highly discounted cruise of up to 14 days on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruise Lines.
