Guest Service Rep. - ANC
The role of the Anchorage GSR is to provide assistance with the departures and arrivals of guests, guaranteeing a seamless cruise or cruisetour experience.
Anchorage GSRs are the greeters, problem-solvers, and guest assistance providers while in Anchorage. An Anchorage GSRs duties include but are not limited to:
Meeting and greeting guests as they arrive/depart at the airport
Assisting guests with their luggage in the baggage terminal
Providing assistance and information to our guests at hotels, airports, and rail depots
Helping out in the operations offices as needed
Driving company vans as necessary
Administering ship check-in
Coordinating airport and hotel arrivals and departures
Anchorage GSRs need to be multi-task oriented, flexible, and above all else very friendly!
Minimum Qualifications
Anchorage GSRs must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:
Must be 18 years of age prior to May 1, 2008
Must be availble to work from 5/15 - 9/18/2008
Be willing to submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
Training Timeline
Once hired, RCT will provide you with the necessary training to do a great job. The GSR Supervisor will conduct the majority of this training via on-the-job training.
Housing
Anchorage GSRs are responsible for their own housing. Out-of-state employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Alaska.
Wages & Bonuses
First year Anchorage GSR - $10.00/hr
All Anchorage GSRs will be eligible for a bonus of 10% of gross wages, upon completion of their contract.
Benefits
After successful completion of a full season contract, RCT employees are eligible for a cruise of up to 14 days on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruise Lines at a highly discounted employee rate.
