  • Title: GSR Supervisor    GSR Supervisor
    Overview: The GSR Supervisor will work closely with the other Operation Supervisors and Managers to lead & supervise the activities of the GSRs. They will assist in the scheduling and training of GSRs in airport, hotel and ship turn operations, which include the arrival and departures of all guests. They will be responsible for overseeing daily operations in areas such as the airport, hotel and office facilities. 
    Requirements: Minimum 2 years of guest service experience preferrably in the tourism industry. Supervisory experience preferred but not necessary. Excellent guest service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, willingness to work varying schedules, able to lift and move 50 - 75 pounds. 
    Pay Summary: $13.00/hour 
    Title: Guest Service Representative    Guest Service Representative
    Overview: Anchorage GSR's will staff an information desk and assist guests as they arrive and depart their Alaska cruisetours. The responsibilities of this position include meeting flights and coordinating airport and hotel arrivals and departures, assisting guests with their day to day activities, resolving guest service issues, administering ship check-in, and coordinating with multiple vendors to ensure seamless guest service. An Anchorage GSR must work closely with other GSR's, Luggage Handlers, Tour Directors, and Drivers. Full time and Friday only positions available! 
    Requirements: Excellent communication and people skills. Assist guests and systematically resolve issues. Must be at least 18 years of age. Valid Alaska driver's license and acceptable driving record. Willing and able to drive seven passenger vans. Submit to a pre-employment drug test. Lift and move 50-75 pounds. Work early morning, late evening and/or week-end shifts. Excellent guest service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, willingness to work varying schedules 
    Pay Summary: $10.00/hour 
    Title: Friday GSR Lead    Friday GSR Lead
    Overview: The Friday GSR Lead will work closely with the GSR Supervisors to supervise the activities at the Hospitality Center and the Friday Hospitality Center GSRs. They will oversee ship check-in, transfer arrangements, and transfer arrivals and departures. The Friday GSR Lead assists the Guest Service Representative Supervisor in coordinating guest arrivals and departures via motorcoach. 
    Requirements: Minimum 1 year of guest service experience preferrably in the tourism industry. Supervisory experience preferred but not necessary. Excellent guest service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, and willingness to work varying schedules are a must. 
    Pay Summary: $12.00/hour 
    Title: Friday Luggage Handler Lead    Friday Luggage Handler Lead
    Overview: The Friday Luggage Handler Lead will work closely with the Guest Service Representative Supervisors to lead & supervise the activities of the Anchorage Luggage Handlers. They are to oversee all Friday Luggage Handlers in the loading and unloading of cuise ship guest's baggage onto luggage trucks on ship days. 
    Requirements: Minimum 1 year of guest service experience preferrably in the tourism industry. Supervisory experience preferred but not necessary. Excellent guest service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, able to lift and move 50-75 pounds. 
    Pay Summary: $11.00/hour 
    Title: Friday Airport GSR    Friday Airport GSR
    Overview: Friday Airport Guest Service Representatives provide assistance to guests arriving to and departing from the Anchorage airport for the cruise ship. They assist guests with their transfers to Seward as well as collect and tally guest's luggage that are going to the ship and secure all bags that come from the ship until they are claimed by the correct owner. 
    Requirements: Excellent guest service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to work varying schedules. Must be available to work on Fridays from 5/14 - 9/10. 
    Pay Summary: $10.00/hour  
    Title: Friday Hospitality GSR    Friday Hospitality GSR
    Overview: The role of the Friday Hospitality Center Guest Service Representative (Friday Hospitality GSR) is to assist guests with making transfer arrangements from Anchorage to Seward. Friday Hospitality GSRs greet guests when they arrive at the Anchorage Hospitality Center as well as verify all check-in documentation has been properly completed and conduct ship check-in if necessary. For guests coming from the cruise ship, Friday Hospitality GSRs make certain that any checked carry-on luggage is stored in a secure location for the remainder of the afternoon. 
    Requirements: Excellent guest service skills, strong written and verbal communication skills and a willingness to work varying schedules. Must be able to handle baggage and lift 25 pounds repetitively. Must be available to work on Fridays from 5/14 - 9/10. 
    Pay Summary: $10.00/hour 
    Title: Friday Luggage Handler    Friday Luggage Handler
    Overview: Luggage handlers are responsible for handling large amounts of luggage ensuring that pieces are promptly delivered to the correct destination. Luggage handlers must be at least 16 years of age and able to work as a part of a team with limited supervision. This is a physically demanding, limited public contact position. 
    Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift and move luggage weighing in excess of 50-75 lbs. for long periods of time. Must be able to work with limited supervision. 
    Pay Summary: $10.00/hour 
    Title: Ops Specialist-Guest Service    Ops Specialist-Guest Service
    Overview: An Ops Specialist-Guest Service staffs the "Operations Center" of RCT's Alaska operation. All operational calls/issues go through an Ops Specialist-Guest Service. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: scheduling/creating daily ops sheet, answering phones and radio, keeping an inventory of operational equipment (radios, keys, wheelchairs, uniforms, etc.), working with a computer (Excel, Word, and Lotus Notes), handling property claims and tracking Lost & Found. Assistance in other aspects of scheduling and service vehicle operation is also involved. This position requires a detailed person who enjoys organization, communication, and scheduling. 
    Requirements: Excellent organizational skills, ability to communicate effectively, working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word, and acceptable driving record.  
    Pay Summary: $12.00/hour
