GSR Supervisor
The role of the GSR Supervisor is to oversee, schedule and train GSRs in airport, hotel and shipturn operations, which include arrivals and departures of all guests.
Primary responsibilities of the GSR Supervisor include but are not limited to:
Assist Operation Managers & Supervisors as needed
Act as on-site Airport Supervisor on shipturn days
Produce weekly schedules for Anchorage GSRs
Coordinate and stage guests and motorcoaches for guest boarding
Assist in the facilitation of luggage operations
Provide and schedule staff for a tour desk at the airport
Oversee the daily duties of Anchorage GSR's in multiple locations including the Anchorage Airport & hotels.
Serve as a supervisory referral point for turnaround day guest complaints, often requiring instant decision-making and problem resolution to avert complaints and provide a positive guest service experience.
Handle and resolve subsequent Guest Service issues for guests in a timely and efficient manner.
Minimum Qualifications
The GSR Supervisor must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:
18 years of age by May 1, 2008
Available from April 21 - Sep 21, 2008
Possess a valid drivers license and a good, safe driving record (no more than one moving violation or at fault accident in the last three years)
Provide a current (no older than 30 days) copy of his/her Motor Vehicle Record
Be willing to submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
Possess a current CPR certificate and First Aid card
A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
Training Timeline
Once hired, RCT will provide you with the necessary training to do a great job. The Guest Service Operations Supervisor will conduct the majority of this training starting in April.
Housing
The GSR Supervisor position is based in Anchorage and is responsible for his/her own housing. Out-of-state employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Alaska.
Wages & Bonuses
First year GSR Supervisor - $13.00/hr
The GSR Supervisor will be eligible for a bonus of 10% of gross wages, upon completion of their contract.

After successful completion of a full season contract, RCT employees are eligible for a cruise of up to 14 days on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruise Lines at a highly discounted employee rate.
