GSR Supervisor
The role of the GSR Supervisor is to oversee, schedule and train Guest Service Representatives and Friday staff in airport, hotel and shipturn operations, which include arrivals and departures of all guests.
Primary responsibilities of the GSR Supervisor include but are not limited to:
Oversee the daily duties of Anchorage Guest Service Representatives in various locations including at local hotels and the Anchorage airport
Schedule GSRs and Friday staff
Coordinate guest arrivals and departures at hotel properties and the Anchorage airport
Meet and greet guests as they arrive at the Anchorage airport and provide them with any necessary information
Assist guests with their luggage in the baggage terminal
Load and unload luggage onto trucks and motorcoaches while maintaining accurate counts
Assist in the location and expediting of lost or misplaced luggage
Handle and resolve any guest service issues in a timely and appropriate manner
Provide clear and concise directions to motorcoah drivers relating to airport and hotel operations
Work closely with hotel staff and other RCT field staff
Drive company vans as necessary
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
The GSR Supervisor must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:
18 years of age by May 1, 2010
Available from May 3 - Sep 17, 2010
Possess a valid drivers license and a good, safe driving record (no more than one moving violation or at fault accident in the last three years)
Be willing to submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
Training Timeline
Once hired, RCT will provide you with the necessary training to do a great job. The Guest Service Operations Supervisor will conduct the majority of this training starting in May.
Housing
The GSR Supervisor position is based in Anchorage and is responsible for his/her own housing. Out-of-state employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Alaska.
Wages & Bonuses
First year GSR Supervisor - $13.00/hr
The GSR Supervisor will be eligible for a bonus of 10% of gross wages, upon completion of their contract.
