GSR Lead
The role of the GSR Lead is to oversee, schedule and train Anchorage GSR's in Anchorage operations, which include arrivals and departures of all guests.

Primary responsibilities of the GSR Lead include but are not limited to:

  • Act as On-Site Supervisor at the Hospitality Center during shipturn operations
  • Tend to guests' needs and concerns
  • Produce weekly schedule for Anchorage GSRs
  • Assist in the training of Anchorage GSR staff
  • Coordinate and stage guests and motorcoaches for guest boarding
  • Assist in facilitation of luggage operations
  • Provide staff for a tour desk at the aiport
  • Oversee the daily duties of Anchorage GSRs at the Anchorage airport

Minimum Qualifications
The GSR Lead must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:

  • Must be 18 years of age prior to May 1, 2008
  • Must be available to work from May 5 - September 18, 2008
  • Possess a drivers license and a good, safe driving record (no more than one moving violation or at fault accident in the last three years)
  • Provide a current (no older than 30 days) copy of his/her Motor Vehicle Record
  • Be willing to submit to pre-employment drug & alcohol testing
  • Possess a current First Aid and CPR certification
  • A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
 
Training Timeline
Once hired, RCT will provide you with the necessary training to do a great job. The GSR Supervisor will conduct the majority of this training starting in May.
 
Housing
The GSR Lead position is based in Anchorage and is responsible for his/her own housing. Out-of-state employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Alaska.
 
Wages & Bonuses
First year GSR Lead - $12.00/hr

The GSR Lead will be eligible for a bonus of 10% of gross wages, upon completion of their contract.

 
Benefits
After successful completion of a full season contract, RCT employees are eligible for a cruise of up to 14 days on Royal Caribbean or Celebrity Cruise Lines at a highly discounted employee rate.
