Friday Airport GSR
Friday Airport Guest Service Representatives (Friday Airport GSR)provide assistance to guests arriving to and departing from the Anchorage airport for the cruise ship. They assist guests with their transfers to Seward as well as collect and tally guest's luggage that are going to the ship and secure all bags that come from the ship until they are claimed by the correct owner.
Primary responsibilities of the Friday Airport GSR include but are not limited to:
Coordinate guesty arrivals and departures at the Anchorage airport
Meet and greet guests as they arrive at the Anchorage airport and provide them with any necessary information
Assist guests with their transfer to Seward via motorcoach or train service. Sell guests a transfer if needed.
Assist guests with their luggage in the baggage terminal
Assist in the location and expediting of lost or misplaced luggage
Handle and resolve any guest service issues in a timely and appropriate manner
Provide clear and concise directions to motorcoach drivers relating to airport and hotel operations
Perform other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
The Friday Airport GSR must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:
16 years of age by May 1, 2010
Available from May 10 - Sep 10, 2010
Be willing to submit to pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
Training Timeline
Once hired, RCT will provide you with the necessary training to do a great job. The Guest Service Operations Supervisor will conduct the majority of this training starting in May.
Housing
The Friday Airport GSR position is based in Anchorage and is responsible for his/her own housing. Out-of-state employees are responsible for their own transportation to and from Alaska.
Wages & Bonus
First year Friday Airport GSR - $10.00/hr
The Friday Airport GSR will be eligible for a bonus of 10% of gross wages, upon completion of their contract.
