Anchorage

Anchorage is Alaska's largest city and home to 40% of the state's population.  An urban setting surrounded by ocean and mountain lends to a "wild life" unlike any where else.  This city of roughly 280,000 is uniquely placed between the mountains of Chugach State Park, the nation's largest state park, and the waters of the Cook Inlet.

From biking the coast line to shopping for the latest trends, this city offers spectacular views along with some of Alaska's favorite summer time activities. Backpacking, biking, hiking trails and fishing are just a few of the adventures available at your doorstep.

Guests staying in downtown Anchorage can visit local attractions, such as:

Weekend City Market
Glacier and Wildlife Flightseeing
Denali

For many of our guests Denali National Park is the highlight of their trip.  At over six million acres Denali is about the size of Massachusetts and is the home of North Americas highest peak, Mount McKinley. At 20,320 ft, Alaskans refer to the mountain as Denali, meaning the high one or great one in the native Athabascan language.

Our guests spend one or two nights in the park and most will take a guided tour into the park on either the Tundra Wilderness Tour or the Denali Natural History Tour in the hopes of learning more about this incredible landscape and spotting wildlife including bears, moose and caribou.

While in Denali our guests have the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities including: white water rafting, hiking, flightseeing and Cabin Nite Dinner Theater.
Fairbanks

Known as the Golden Heart City for its residents and location in the heart of the state, Fairbanks is known for its rich gold mining history.  It is a place of extremes, where the temperature rises into the 90s in the summer and can drop to 60 below in the winter. Our guests will have the opportunity to visit downtown with fine eateries and quaint shops, take in a variety of optional excursions including a flight to the Arctic Circle and stay at the best hotels in the city. While in Fairbanks our guests may visit:

Originally known as Glacier City because of its picturesque location surrounded by magestic glacier covered mountains, it is a small community with a population of just over 2000. Girdwood boasts fine restaurants, quaint shops and the perfect environment for outdoor activities.

Our guests stay at The Hotel Alyeska, the largest ski resort in Alaska. A year round resort and a favorite stop amongst our guests, hotel highlights include a luxury spa, top of the line fitness center, salt water pool and some of the best dining in the state.
