Denali Site Agent


Position Summary

The role of the Denali Site Agent is to provide assistance with the departures and arrivals of guests to and from Denali, guaranteeing a seamless cruisetour experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Denali Site Agents are the greeters, problem-solvers, and assistance providers while in Denali. The Denali Site Specialist duties include but are not limited to:

  • Meeting and greeting guests as they arrive/depart Denali via motorcoach or train
  • Facilitate train depot arrival and departure process
  • Assisting guests with their luggage issues
  • Providing assistance and information about Denali to our guests
  • Shuttling employees with company vans as necessary
  • Working closely with hotels' staff to organize and divide up guests' key packets and included activity tickets into correct tour groups
  • Must be multi-task oriented, flexible, and above all else very friendly!
Minimum Qualifications:

Denali Site Agents must meet the following criteria in order to be considered as an applicant:

  • A US citizen or can provide verification of authorization to work in the US
  • 21 years of age at start of employment
  • Possess a valid Alaska State drivers license and a good, safe driving record (no more than one moving violation or at fault accident in the last three years)
  • Be willing to submit to pre-employment, random, post-accident, and just cause drug and alcohol testing
  • Must be available to work from mid May through mid September
  • Work independently and as a member of a team
  • Work early morning, late evening and/or week-end shifts
  • Must successfully complete provided van training program  
  • Must posses excellent verbal and written communication skills
Training Timeline:

Once hired, RCT will provide you with a thorough training program via classroom and on-the-job training.

Wages:

First year Denali Site Agent - $11.00/hr

Overtime wages are paid at 1 1/2 times the regular rate of pay for the hours in excess of 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week.

Bonus:

Upon successful completion of the assignment, you will be eligible for a Longevity Bonus calculated at 10% of your gross wages (regular and overtime) earned during this assignment. 

Benefits:

If hired prior to July 1st, and upon successful completion of this assignment, you will be eligible for a cruise on Royal Caribbean International or Celebrity Cruises at a highly discounted employee rate.
